PA NASP is a 501(c)3
non-profit organization. All donations to the PA NASP are tax deductible.
- Due to moving to a new home, and changing from FIOS to
DSL, the internet service will be shut down until about September 8,
2008! We will be on vacation from August 22 to the day after Labor Day.

School, Constitution High School, Winchester Thurston PK-5 School and
Northwestern Academy for C.A.S. to the NASP!
- 7/18/2008 - Teachers from 63 Pennsylvania
Schools are currently certified as BAI or BAIT Instructors.
- THE ARKANSAS COORDINATORS CONFERENCE, (JULY 12 - 17), WAS A HUGE
SUCCESS, THANKS TO THE ARCHERY COMPANIES WHO WERE THE SPONSORS ! THANK YOU!

- 7/18/2008 - A NASP Similar archery program is permitted in Pennsylvania,
for Sportsmen's clubs / associations, archery clubs, Scouts, camps and
youth organizations. Contact the State Coordinator for the requirements for
the "NASP Similar" program.

- 7/18/2008 - Thanks to all who passed the word and
contributed this rare blood to Tom. The response was overwhelming! Tom is
Conscious, but still in critical condition.
7/18/2008 - A BASIC ARCHERY
INSTRUCTOR, (BAI), CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP held at Spring-Ford
8th grade center was a huge success. 19 Instructors from 7 schools were certified.
4/8/08 - The 2008 PA NASP State Championship
Tournament at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg was a great success, with
a participation increase over 60%. Congratulations to those who
participated and had an enjoyable experience! See you all at the 2009
tournament!

- 4/27/08 - 2008 tournament results ARE posted on
the "results" page! Should a name be misspelled, email me the correct
spelling.

- 3/20/08 - All NASP NAA archery certifications
issued in February 2005 have expired! You are REQUIRED to purchase
the NEW NASP archery Basic Archery Instructor, (BAI), packet, which replaced
the former NAA certification at the cost of $35.00 each. This NEW
certification registers you with NASP and provides a registration number and
pass word, to enable you to view your NASP account. The PA NASP requires you
to complete a "PA NASP REPORTING FORM" at the end of each school year, (send
it to the State Coordinator), to renew your NASP certification.

2/15/08 - NASP has an arrow rest kit with 4 right and one left hand rest for $50.00.
- 2/4/08 - BOW, WRIST and FINGER SLINGS may be used! They may be TIED ON, TAPED ON or a STANDARD BOLT FROM THE STRAP INTO THE STABILIZER HOLE. STABILIZER OR OVER SIZED BOLT IS PROHIBITED!

- 1/11/08 - Ambridge District Sportsman Club has donated funds in memory of 2 deceased members for a NASP school in Beaver county.
- 1/4/08 - Effective 1/15/08, NASP equipment prices increased by 5%!

Unavailable workshop dates are listed on the workshop training page.
At least twenty,
(20), days minimum notice is required prior to a workshop. The BAI,
(Basic Archery Instructor), certified NASP training is for teachers.
Youth organizations and clubs are permitted to conduct a "NASP
SIMILAR" program using NASP certified instructors and NASP
equipment.
Looking for Host schools for BAI workshops.

The NASP State Tournament is a cooperative effort between the PA NASP and the Pennsylvania State Archery Association, (PSAA). The PSAA has been involved with this program since the NASP was implemented in Pennsylvania.
