The Pennsylvania NASP
A completely volunteer organization
To be minimum
effective, the PA NASP needs five thousand dollars,
($5,000), on a yearly basis to cover: office supplies, mailings, travel,
mileage, tolls, conferences, presentations, conventions, shows, youth programs and unexpected requests.
The Basic
Archery Instructor Trainers, (BAIT), only receive
compensation for: mileage, meals and (motel / hotel
stays, when travel exceeds fifty miles one way). NO
VOLUNTEERS RECEIVES PAY IN ANY FORM, other than
workshop compensation!
The benefit of
this program is far reaching, its a win - win
situation for the students, teachers, Schools,
families, community, clubs and the shooting sports industry. Since this program began in Kentucky in 2002 and we are now experiencing growth, not only in archery, but other shooting sports as well. Club membership in the shooting sports / archery organizations will increase as a result. Archery is becoming a family sport, complete families are experiencing the fun of shooting together, regardless of their age, size or ability.
